like most other reviewers, I purchased because I have long arms.... but not long enough. My guess is 99% of the people buying this will think it is about a 1/2 inch too long.

If they had put a break at the wrist so that it bent with you it would work better; I might be able to do that myself so we will see. It definitely protects the entire forearm though, you don't feel a thing.

We bought this to replace the leather guard that came with a recurve bow we bought. This is MUCH nicer and easier to put on with its snaps and stretch bands. It also provides superior protection and I am very happy with this purchase. Bear in mind that it is long at 11.5". I am 6'2" and have reasonably long arms and this reaches from my wrist to my elbow, which I like. It might be too long for some though, so do check the length before ordering.
