Customer Reviews
this crossbow is more modular than it looks. the handguard is attached via picatinny rail, and the pistol grip accepts AR15 grips with an A2 footprint, which is great. the crossbow is mostly metal including the flight rails and the optic tower/rail. the flight rails, riser, barrel, and handguard rail are all one piece, aluminum i believe. it’s built very well, everything is lined up correctly and it looks like attention was paid to 99% of the places it should be. one small issue was that the finish on the left rail had a defect (lil bumps) that might have affected the serving, but that defect was easily removed with a knife without damaging the rail at all or much of the finish. my only other criticism (more of a suggestion to the manufacturer) is that this crossbow really needs an AR15 milspec sized receiver ext instead of the proprietary one its currently made with. the current receiver ext and stock works and is okay, but a milspec sized receiver ext would be a serious product improvement that would allow the use of milspec AR15 stocks. that would, in my opinion, level this thing up to 100%. as with most budget friendly crossbows the included optic and arrows do work, but they aren’t all that great. overall this crossbow is well worth the money, it shoots like an absolute champ, and i very much recommend it. just plan on getting a better optic and arrows for it.
the bow is cool changed the scope
looking for brace height on the string
Yes it has a lot of power. But the site is very unstable and the bolt quiver bolts would fall out. Replaced both with not much cost. Had problem with cocking also. With latching and getting my foot in. Quiver would not let foot in far and have small feet. Found turning it over putting site on knee or thigh could get foot in. Latching worked out. For light weight and power and price you can't lose. yes very accurate and consistent I have 3 bows and use this mostly. Great for stalking..
Toss the cheap red dot right away and grab a nice optic for this. I had trouble getting the string to catch at first but once you get the hang of it it is no big deal. This thing is POWERFUL. It rips right through hay bales at 100 yards like its nothing. and is quite accurate.
I ordered this as my first crossbow. After the extremely simple setup, I literally hit the bullseye on the target at 30 yards with my first 3 shots. I can't ask for a more cost effective bow, especially with the consistency that I've seen. The reflex sight isn't the best but that's the one I hit bullseye with for the 1st 3 shots. It does lose its zero pretty easily but that's an easy replacement and doesn't take away from the product at all in my book.
