Fletchings are important to stabilizer the arrow in flight. They will wear and tear eventually, so we need to either replace or fix them.

Feather fletching tip: If your feathers get flat or crinkled, rejuvenate them with steam. Simmer some water on the stove or use a steam iron to bring your feathers back to life. After a few minutes of steaming, they’ll look new again.
